Organization

The establishment of BESTMER emerged as a result of and in line with the defined requirements such as:

• the necessity to utilize and evaluate the vast potential of biomass energy resources of high value in our country and region which are processed by rather primitive methods,
• to increase the employment capacity on a sectoral scale with the operations of the center,
• to improve university and industry collaboration,
• to conduct r&d studies and introduce new products,
• to establish a laboratory infrastructure for all tests and analyses regarding biomass energy resources.
